Baseball Recap: Bluffton Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Eastbrook, Bluffton was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Southern Wells Raiders a 14-0 shutout. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now won seven in a row.

The team relied heavily on Griffin Morgan, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Abram Gehrett, who went 2-for-3 with three runs and one double.

Bluffton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .615. The last time their OBP was this high was back in May of 2025.

Bluffton now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Southern Wells, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
