Soccer Recap: Brookville Takes a Loss

Brookville fought the good fight in their overtime match against Rustburg on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Red Devils by a score of 2-1. Brookville were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Rustburg earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Brookville's goal came courtesy of Carter Bradshaw, which was the first he's scored this season.

Brookville now has a losing record of 4-5-2. As for Rustburg, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-6-1 and their overall record up to 4-6-1.

Brookville didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 4-1 win against Liberty on the 2nd. As for Rustburg, they have also already played their next contest, a 4-0 loss against Jefferson Forest on the 2nd.
