Basketball Recap: Dover-Sherborn's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak on the Road

After losing to Hopkinton the last time they met, Dover-Sherborn decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Dover-Sherborn Raiders snuck past the Hopkinton Hillers with a 68-62 victory on Tuesday. The win was all the more spectacular given the Raiders' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 223rd, while the Hillers are ranked 61st).

Dover-Sherborn's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-9. As for Hopkinton, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dover-Sherborn will face off against Millis at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Hopkinton, they will challenge Norwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopkinton knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Norwood likes a good challenge.
