Basketball Game Preview: Bloomington Bruins vs. Notre Dame Titans

The Bloomington Bruins are taking a road trip to challenge the Notre Dame Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bloomington will be strutting in after a win while Notre Dame will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Wednesday, everything went Bloomington's way against Rim of the World as Bloomington made off with a 59-36 victory.

Meanwhile, Notre Dame was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 62-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of San Gorgonio.

Bloomington will have to contain Caiden Broughton as he made an impact in Notre Dame's last game. He posted 41 points and five rebounds. That was a full 78.8% of Notre Dame's points, marking the seventh time in a row he's scored more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Aaron Lewis, who had two points and ten boards.

Bloomington has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.8 points per game. As for Notre Dame, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12.
