St. David is 6-1 against Fort Thomas since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Tigers will face off against the Apaches at 7:00 p.m. St. David is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.1 points per game this season.

St. David is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Arizona's top teams: Hayden, who was ranked first at the time (St. David was ranked third). The Tigers had to suffer through a 51-14 loss at the hands of the Lobos. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Lobos: they've now lost five in a row.

The match pitted two dominant backs against one another in Chase Pacheco and Kino Lorona. Lorona had a great game on Friday and rushed for 193 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 9.7 yards per carry. Meanwhile, Pacheco did his best for the losing side, picking up 53 receiving yards and one touchdown, while also punching in one TD on the ground.

Meanwhile, Fort Thomas fell victim to Valley Union and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a blow against the Blue Devils, falling 66-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Apaches were not able to get on the board.

Having lost for the first time this season, St. David fell to 6-1. As for Fort Thomas, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

Everything came up roses for St. David against Fort Thomas when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 50-6 win. In that game, the Tigers amassed a halftime lead of 36-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
