Baseball Recap: Laguardia Extends Winning Streak to Four

Laguardia entered their tilt with Collaborative Education on Tuesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Collaborative Education an 11-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Laguardia, who have now won three games by ten runs or more so far this season.

Laguardia got a great performance from FRANK VEVE as he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 13 over five innings pitched.

At the plate, GABE GOODMAN was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of DANIEL LOMBARDO, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with five stolen bases and three runs.

Laguardia's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Collaborative Education, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
