Sahuarita won the last time they faced Empire and things went their way on Wednesday too. Sahuarita blew past Empire 12-2. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won five games by nine runs or more so far this season.

Sahuarita has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-1-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. Empire has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.
