Basketball Game Preview: Cajon Cowboys vs. Redlands East Valley Wildcats

Cajon and Redlands East Valley are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The Cajon Cowboys will welcome the Redlands East Valley Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Redlands East Valley took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Cajon, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Cajon turned things around against Shadow Hills on Monday. They snuck past the Knights with a 46-42 win.

Meanwhile, Redlands East Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Alta Loma, falling 68-47. The Wildcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-16.

Cajon's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Redlands East Valley, they now have a losing record at 9-10.

Cajon came up short against Redlands East Valley in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, falling 73-60. Thankfully for Cajon, Jeremiah Ivens (who went 8 for 13 on his way to 26 points in addition to eight rebounds and eight steals) won't be suiting up this time.
