Soccer Game Preview: Kiona-Benton vs. College Place

Kiona-Benton hasn't had much luck against College Place recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Bears will be playing in front of their home fans against the Hawks at 6:00 p.m. Kiona-Benton has given up an average of 6.8 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Kiona-Benton is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game last Friday. They came up short against Highland, falling 10-0. While losing is never fun, Kiona-Benton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 255th, while Highland are ranked 93rd).

Meanwhile, College Place had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.3 goals) and they went ahead and made it four last Friday. They never let the Cougars get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory.

The win got College Place back to even at 4-4. As for Kiona-Benton, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.
