Baseball Recap: Georgetown Comes Up Short

The matchup between Georgetown and Pentucket Regional on Tuesday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Royals lost 16-8 to Pentucket Regional. Surprisingly, this marked the Royals' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Georgetown's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Pentucket Regional, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

While Georgetown had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
