On Tuesday, Charleston Collegiate had to settle for second even though Thomas Reed put up the best numbers he has all season. Reed wasn't messing around, going 11 of 22 en route to 33 points and eight rebounds. The matchup was his ninth straight with 16 or more points dating back to last season. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Reed and Charleston Collegiate will face off against Calhoun Academy at 6:20 p.m. on Thursday. Reed hasn't had any trouble running up the score (he's averaged 21.3 per game this season), but it's looking like he'll have his work cut out for him against the Cavaliers' dominant defense.
