Basketball Recap: Friendship Takes a Loss

On Monday, the Friendship Golden Eagles took a blow against the Avoca Central Tigers, falling 66-22.

Friendship's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Avoca Central, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Friendship will venture away from home to challenge Genesee Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Avoca Central, they will head out on the road to square off against Canisteo-Greenwood at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Canisteo-Greenwood will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Avoca Central surely won't give up without a fight.
