Baseball Recap: Pleasant Hill Billies vs. Harrisburg Eagles
Pleasant Hill won the last time they faced Harrisburg and things went their way on Friday too. The Billies walked away with a 9-4 win over the Eagles.
Landon Kelley spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and three unearned) runs on five hits and racked up six Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Pleasant Hill let Wyatt Krauss and Kaden Fisher run wild. Krauss went 2-for-4 with three runs and one RBI, while Fisher went 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Those two hits gave Krauss a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabe VanOrdstrand, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
