Case Posts Huge Game in 23-7 Victory

Starting off the list is Douglas County's Nolan Case, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Case rushed for 252 yards and one score while picking up 13.3 yards per carry, and also picked up 55 receiving yards and one TD. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 90-yard run.

Case must have Castle View's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. When Case last faced the Sabercats back in September of 2024, he picked up 112 receiving yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 31 yards.

Luke Rubley Posts a New Career-High in Rushing Yards

Luke Rubley posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 66 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only seven carries. Those rushing yards were his first of the season.

Regis Jesuit's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. Looking ahead, Rubley and the Raiders will head out on the road to take on Mullen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Da'Kari Releford Jr produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Fountain-Fort Carson to the win on Friday. Releford Jr's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 106 rushing yards. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 55 yards.

If the past is any indication, Releford Jr could be in store for another big game when he takes on Douglas County on Friday. When Releford Jr last faced the Huskies back in October of 2024, he rushed for 61 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Jones Made His Presence Known in Regis Jesuit's 47-14 Win

Colt Jones posted a new career-high in receiving yards on Friday. He picked up 72 receiving yards and two TDs. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making ten total tackles and defending one pass in addition to snagging an interception.

This year, Jones has caught 3 touchdowns while averaging 37 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 1.75 receiving yards per game.

Jaylen Martin Delivers Best Performance of Season

Jaylen Martin produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Fountain-Fort Carson to the win on Friday. Martin rushed for 70 yards and one score on only five carries, and also threw for 130 yards and a pair of TDs on only 11 passes.

On the season, Martin has thrown 7 touchdowns (and and only 1 picks) while averaging 98.4 passing yards per game.
