Volleyball Recap: Atascadero Comes Up Short

Atascadero was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Big Valley Christian Lions.

Atascadero's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Big Valley Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

Atascadero has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Central Catholic on the 29th. As for Big Valley Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Reedley on the 29th.
