Poth has gone a perfect 8-0 against Nixon-Smiley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Poth Pirates will be playing at home against the Nixon-Smiley Mustangs at 1:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Monday just wasn't the day for Poth's offense. They came up short against La Vernia on Monday, falling 15-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Pirates have suffered since February 15th.

Meanwhile, Nixon-Smiley also failed to score in their most recent game. They fell 4-0 to La Grange on Tuesday. The Mustangs' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Nixon-Smiley's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Poth, they now have a losing record of 5-6.
