Basketball Recap: Henderson Comes Up Short

Henderson was the 48-45 winner over Carthage when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Henderson Lions received a blow on Friday as they fell 66-47 to the Carthage Bulldogs. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Henderson's record is now 5-23. As for Carthage, their win bumped their record up to 4-11.

Henderson and Carthage could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Henderson will square off against Pine Tree at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday down 727 places (1315 vs. 588). Similarly, Carthage (ranked 1330th) will meet Chapel Hill (ranked 352nd) at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
