In Florida on Friday night,
Champagnat Catholic (Hialeah) tried to pull off its own Kick Six, scooping up a blocked field goal attempt by
Community School of Naples (Naples) and initiating a return.
But things took an unfortunate twist for Champagnat Catholic.
The Lions got a bit carried away lateraling the ball and
Cooper Weiss took advantage.
The Community School of Naples senior snatched a risky lateral near the sideline and raced 45 yards untouched to complete one of the craziest sequences we've seen all season.
The wild play was to no avail as Weiss and the Seahawks dropped a 34-31 heartbreaker to Champagnat Catholic in the first round of the Class 2A playoffs.
