After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bloomingdale, Sumner was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Robinson Knights with a sharp 16-4 victory. The result was nothing new for the Stingrays, who have now won nine matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Sumner got a massive performance out of Karlee Salisbury, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. The dominant performance also gave Salisbury a new career-high in RBI (four). Sa'Myra Cameron was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
