Softball Recap: Frankfort Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Frankfort's offense. They lost 17-0 to the Garrard County Golden Lions on Thursday. The game marked the first time this season in which the Panthers were not able to get on the board.

This is the second loss in a row for Frankfort and nudges their season record down to 4-4. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 4-2 Franklin County (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 58.3% over those games). As for Garrard County, they moved to 7-7 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Coming up, Frankfort will head out to take on Franklin County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Garrard County, they will face off against Washington County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Golden Lions are facing the Commanders at the right time seeing as the Commanders are stuck on a 13-game losing streak.
