Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Friday. Ardsley put the hurt on Edgemont with a sharp 3-0 win. Ardsley hasn't had any issues with Edgemont recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Ardsley took every set by at least 25 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Ardsley's win bumped their record up to 11-3-1. As for Edgemont, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Ardsley will face off against John Jay at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Edgemont, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Byram Hills at 4:30 p.m. on the 22nd.
