River View is 1-9 against Mount View since April of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Tuesday. The Raiders are taking a road trip to  challenge the Golden Knights  at 5:00  p.m. River View has given up an average of 9.3  runs per game this season, but Tuesday's  game will give them a chance to turn things around.
River View is headed into Tuesday's   match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game  on Thursday. They came up short against  Carvers Bay, falling  11-1.
Meanwhile, Mount View got the win against Twin Valley  on Monday by a conclusive  17-3. The Golden Knights haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive  victory against them.
 Blane Sturgell made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  pitched one inning while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  given up  more than one  hit in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-2 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI. That  double marked the first that  he has  hit this season.
 In other batting news,  Hunter Muncy and  Jacob Wright did most of the damage at the plate:  Muncy  went a perfect 2-for-2 with two  runs, two  doubles,  and one  stolen base, while  Wright  went a perfect 2-for-2 with three  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  double. Mount View is 3-0-1 when  Muncy posts two or  more  runs, but 4-5 otherwise. Another player making a difference was  Kyrece Hughes, who  went 1-for-2 with three  stolen bases and two  runs.
 Mount View was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .562. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  batting average total in three consecutive  games.
 Mount View pushed their record up to 7-5-1 with the  win, which was their fourth straight  at home. Those  home  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for River View, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.
