On Thursday, Rogers faced North Smithfield in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Rogers Vikings came out on top against the North Smithfield Northmen by a score of 33-20. Winning may never get old, but the Vikings sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Rogers pushed their record up to 12-9 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 20.5 points over those games. As for North Smithfield, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-9.

Coming up, Rogers will square off against Cumberland at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. North Smithfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
