Soccer Recap: San Luis Comes Up Short

San Luis lost against Gila Ridge back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The San Luis Sidewinders lost 8-0 to the Gila Ridge Hawks. The Sidewinders' loss continues a trend for the team, making it six in a row.

San Luis' defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Gila Ridge, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. San Luis will take on Cibola at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gila Ridge, they will challenge Yuma at 6:00 p.m. on January 17th. Yuma has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with eight straight losses, while Gila Ridge will come in with three straight wins.
