Baseball Recap: Lower Lake Comes Up Short

After flying high against Upper Lake on Tuesday, Lower Lake came back down to earth. The Trojans came up short against the Clear Lake Cardinals on Friday, falling 15-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Trojans haven't been shut out since back in March.

Lower Lake saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ashton Hartman, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Lower Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Clear Lake, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-5.

Lower Lake didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-5 loss against Cloverdale on the 13th. As for Clear Lake, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 13-6 victory against Middletown on the 13th.
