Son of Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer is proving himself on the high school football field.

Urban Meyer and Ohio State are enjoying a fine season on the field in 2015, as the Buckeyes will look to remain unbeaten when they take on Michigan State this weekend.

Meanwhile Urban's son, Nate Meyer and his high school, Bishop Watterson (Columbus, Ohio), also enjoyed a fine season on the gridiron this fall.

Bishop Watterson improved to to 6-6 this year after a two-win season in 2014.

The younger Meyer, only a sophomore, contributed as both a defensive back and a wide receiver, possessing good size and football instincts.



With the high school football season over, Nate Meyer will likely be trading his helmet and shoulder pads for a baseball glove and cleats. He played varsity baseball as a freshman last season and figures to be one of the team's key players this spring.
