Tuesday just wasn't the day for Palestine-Wheatley's offense. They came up short against the Pulaski Academy Bruins on Tuesday, falling 9-0. The Patriots' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Palestine-Wheatley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maddox Hoggatt, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Palestine-Wheatley's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Pulaski Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Palestine-Wheatley will face off against DeWitt at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pulaski Academy, they will be playing at home against Lonoke at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
