Soccer Game Preview: Hartsville vs. Indian Land

The Hartsville Red Foxes are taking a road trip to take on the Indian Land Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Hartsville has four straight wins, Indian Land has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

While Hartsville's victory against Governor's School for Science & Math wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Red Foxes sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 win over the Eagles last Thursday.

Hartsville hit Governor's School for Science & Math with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Sara Preston Hall (2), Skylar Ford (2), and Ann Frances Nutt.

Meanwhile, Indian Land managed to keep up with Clover until halftime last Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Warriors came up short against the Blue Eagles, falling 4-0. That's two games in a row now that Indian Land have lost by exactly four goals.

Hartsville's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-4. As for Indian Land, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10-4.

Hartsville might still be hurting after the 10-0 loss they got from Indian Land in their previous matchup back in March of 2017. Can the Red Foxes avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
