While Vance County's victory against Granville Central wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Vipers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-7 win over the Panthers on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Vipers sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Vance County's victory bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Granville Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-10-1.

Vance County will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Panthers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
