Basketball Recap: St. Mary's Academy Takes a Loss

St. Mary's Academy lost against Heritage Preparatory back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The St. Mary's Academy Bobcats took a 70-65 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Heritage Preparatory Rams.

Drew Fisher had a dynamite game for Heritage Preparatory, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 13 rebounds. Fisher is becoming a predictor of Heritage Preparatory's success: when he posts at least eight boards the team is undefeated (and 6-7 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Jaden Brooks, who posted 15 points.

St. Mary's Academy's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Heritage Preparatory, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-7.

As of now, neither St. Mary's Academy nor Heritage Preparatory have any future games scheduled.
