Volleyball Recap: St. Cloud Victorious

St. Cloud won the last time they faced Lake Highland Prep and things went their way on Saturday too. The St. Cloud Bulldogs came out on top against the Lake Highland Prep Highlanders by a score of 2-0.

Enrique Soto paced St. Cloud's offense, picking up 13 kills. Soto got some help from Eddier Rodriguez and his 15 assists. Rodriguez and Soto didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with two apiece.

St. Cloud now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Lake Highland Prep, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.

St. Cloud has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Oviedo on the 15th. After both having extra time off, Lake Highland Prep and Winter Park will dust off their jerseys to square off against one another at 6:00 p.m. on March 25th.
