Basketball Recap: Cleveland Continues Home Dominance on Friday

Garner came into Friday's contest looking for another win against Cleveland, but Rodney Poston wouldn't allow it. The Cleveland Rams snuck past the Garner Trojans with a 64-59 victory on Friday thanks in part to Poston, who posted 23 points in addition to seven boards and six assists. What's more, he also racked up six steals, the most he's had since back in January of 2024.

Cleveland pushed their record up to 16-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Garner, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-3.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Southeast Raleigh the next time they take the court. Cleveland will host Southeast Raleigh at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Garner will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
