Volleyball Recap: Hale Comes Up Short

Hale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Tawas Area Braves. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Braves when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Hale's loss dropped their record down to 10-8-3. As for Tawas Area, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-12-1 record this season.

Tawas Area has already played their next matchup (against Standish-Sterling), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Hale will be paying especially close attention to the Braves' match: after the Braves face off against Pinconning, they'll take on Hale again at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
