Baseball Preview: Octorara Area Braves vs. Kennard-Dale Rams

Octorara Area is 0-3 against Kennard-Dale since May of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Octorara Area Braves will head out on the road to face off against the Kennard-Dale Rams at 4:15 p.m. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Tuesday, Octorara Area sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over J.P. McCaskey.

Aidan Marsh was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run over 6.2 innings pitched. Marsh was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2. Marsh is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's stolen at least one every time he's taken the field this season.

Octorara Area's victory ended a three-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-2. As for Kennard-Dale, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
