Parkview is 7-2 against Monett since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Vikings will head out on the road to square off against the Cubs at 4:30 p.m. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Parkview has struggled recently with 11 defeats in a row, while Monett will arrive with five straight wins.

Parkview lost 3-0 to Bolivar on Tuesday.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-6, 25-14.

Monett not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 3, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on Sarcoxie with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Monett never let Sarcoxie on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-19, 25-19.

Monett's win bumped their record up to 5-1-1. As for Parkview, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Parkview suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Monett in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. Can the Vikings avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
