Basketball Recap: Payne Tech Takes a Loss

Payne Tech was the 45-38 winner over Nutley when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Payne Tech Lions took a 50-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Nutley Maroon Raiders on Thursday. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Payne Tech now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Nutley, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-4.

Looking ahead, Payne Tech will head out to challenge Newark Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Nutley, they are taking a road trip to square off against Indian Hills at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
