Softball Recap: Hoosac Valley Continues Road Dominance on Thursday

After losing to Drury the last time they met, Hoosac Valley decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Hurricanes were the clear victors by an 18-2 margin over the Blue Devils on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Hurricanes have posted against the Blue Devils since April 12, 2019.

Hoosac Valley pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The team's perfect season has a lot to do with their hitting performance: the team's won by an average of 17 runs thus far. As for Drury, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coincidentally, Hoosac Valley and Drury will both be playing McCann Tech the next time they take the field. The Blue Devils will host the Hornets at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Hurricanes will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
