Basketball Recap: Yorktown Comes Up Short

Yorktown and Oakton squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Yorktown had to settle for second. They fell to the Oakton Cougars 49-43. The Patriots have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Yorktown's loss dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Oakton, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-4.

Yorktown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Oakton, they will square off against Chantilly at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
