Basketball Recap: East Noble Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses at Home

On Saturday, the East Noble Knights wrapped up 2024 with a 58-44 victory over the Garrett Railroaders. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 131st, while the Railroaders are ranked 289th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

East Noble's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-7. As for Garrett, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Noble will venture away from home to face off against Central Noble at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Central Noble will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something East Noble surely won't give up without a fight. As for Garrett, they will take on Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Garrett is facing Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger at the right time seeing as Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
