Soccer Game Preview: Fairhope vs. Dothan

The Fairhope Pirates will challenge the Dothan Wolves at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Fairhope's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Fairhope is likely headed into the game with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Daphne on Tuesday. Fairhope fell just short of Daphne by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Dothan sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Enterprise on Monday. The victory continues a trend for Wolves in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won eight in a row.

Fairhope's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-4-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those three contests. As for Dothan, their win bumped their record up to 7-5.
