Basketball Recap: Rogers Takes a Loss

Rogers was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 42-24 to the Cheney Blackhawks. The Pirates were not able to make up for their defeat to the Blackhawks from their previous meeting back in January.

Rogers' loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Cheney, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-2.

Rogers will take on Moscow in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cheney, they will be home for the holidays to greet Pullman at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
