Basketball Game Preview: El Primero Lobos vs. Lincoln Lions

The El Primero Lobos will take on the Lincoln Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. El Primero will come in still looking for their first win of the season.

El Primero is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took a blow against Cindy Avitia back in December of 2024, falling 68-38.

Meanwhile, Lincoln unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 67-60 to Saratoga.

El Primero will have to contain Joseph Shelton as he made an impact in Lincoln's last game. He posted 30 points and five assists. That was a full 50% of Lincoln's points, marking the third time in a row he's put up more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Emran Ali, who had seven points.

El Primero's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Lincoln, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-5.

El Primero was taken down by Lincoln 64-24 when the teams last played back in December of 2019. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point El Primero was down 33-11.
