Soccer Recap: Sullivan County Takes a Loss

Sullivan County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 7-0 to the Benton Tigers. While losing is never fun, Sullivan County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 473rd, while Benton are ranked 66th).

Sullivan County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Benton, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Coming up, Sullivan County will welcome Millville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Millville's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Sullivan County's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Benton, they will challenge South Williamsport at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
