Baseball Game Preview: Lumberton Raiders vs. Lufkin Panthers

The Lumberton Raiders will take on the Lufkin Panthers at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Lufkin will be up against a hot Lumberton squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. Lumberton never let West Brook get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Raiders have posted since March 15, 2024.

Hudson Emerson made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. Emerson was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.
