Baseball Recap: Timber Creek Regional Takes a Loss

Timber Creek Regional managed to slip by Williamstown the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Chargers lost 13-3 to the Braves on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Chargers have suffered since May 23, 2024.

Nick Traynor made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Tyler McCullough, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs.

Timber Creek Regional's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 3-5. As for Williamstown, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

Coming up, Timber Creek Regional will take on Pitman at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Chargers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Williamstown, they will challenge Pennsville Memorial at 10:00 a.m. on Monday. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Braves' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
