Basketball Recap: Karson Paye Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Flandreau

Dell Rapids's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They took down the Flandreau Fliers 53-38. The win continues a trend for the Quarriers in their matchups with the Fliers: they've now won three in a row.

Dell Rapids got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Karson Paye out in front who went 6 of 15 to rack up 17 points in addition to eight rebounds and five assists. The dominant performance gave Paye a new career-high in boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Lincoln Anderson, who went 5 for 7 en route to 13 points.

Dell Rapids' win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Flandreau, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-6.

Dell Rapids wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 57-35 victory against Tri-Valley on the 6th.
