Soccer Recap: San Clemente Takes a Loss

There was early excitement for San Clemente after they claimed the first goal on Saturday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of the Oceanside Pirates by a score of 2-1. That's two games in a row now that the Tritons have lost by just one goal.

Their goal came courtesy of Doran Farrell, which was the first he's scored this season.

San Clemente is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3-1. As for Oceanside, their win bumped their record up to 5-0-1.

San Clemente has already played their next contest, a 4-1 victory against Torrey Pines on the 30th. As for Oceanside, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 win against San Pasqual on the 30th.
