Softball Recap: Castlewood Blue Devils vs. Eastside Spartans

Castlewood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 15-2 to the Eastside Spartans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Castlewood of the 10-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April.

For Eastside's part, Braelyn Hall and Emma Sartin made a big impact no matter where they played. On the mound, Hall struck out 12 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits (and not a single walk).
