Basketball Game Preview: West Feliciana Saints vs. GEO Next Generation Tigers

The West Feliciana Saints will head out on the road to square off against the GEO Next Generation Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. West Feliciana will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.

Last Friday, West Feliciana earned a 63-51 victory over Episcopal.

West Feliciana found their leader in sophomore Sanaya Berry, who posted 22 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Berry has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Samaria Berry, who had 14 points.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for GEO Next Generation, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They took their game on Saturday with ease, bagging a 50-4 win over Capitol. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matches by 21 points or more this season.

GEO Next Generation's win came from a few key players West Feliciana will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Ivoryana Powell, who put up 16 points. Another player making a difference was Kimberly Jack, who posted 11 points.

West Feliciana pushed their record up to 10-4 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game. As for GEO Next Generation, their win bumped their record up to 16-4.
