Volleyball Recap: Lincolnton Extends Winning Streak to Four

Lincolnton waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Burns Bulldogs 3-0. This was a revenge game for the Wolves: when they faced off against the Bulldogs back in August, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

Kaylen Bryant paced Lincolnton's offense, picking up 14 kills. Bryant got some help from Kathryn Parker and her 28 assists. Finally, Torie Lykins kept Lincolnton's defense grounded, leading the team with nine blocks.

Despite the loss, Burns still got an impressive performance from Bailey Grayson, who had 15 digs and two assists. Grayson is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last nine games she's played.

Lincolnton's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Burns, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-5.

Lincolnton has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Chase on the 1st. As for Burns, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Highland Tech on the 1st.
